Job Summary
Lead technical reviews and design milestones for secure networking across development, integration, testing, and operational phases. Establish and maintain network connectivity, cryptographic device management, and compliance with IEEE, SAE, and MIL-STD standards. Develop cybersecurity body of evidence, conduct vulnerability assessments, and protect systems against TEMPEST threats. Design secure network infrastructure installations, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and support vendor integration and test readiness reviews. Provide secure networking inputs to project schedules and integrated master plans while tracking risks and deliverables. Travel up to 25% to program offices and operational facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in secure networking, systems engineering, or cybersecurity for DoD/IC programs
- Expertise in DISA STIGs, RMF, COMSEC handling, TEMPEST protections, and IA Workforce requirements
- Experience with MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody, MagicDraw, or equivalent)
- Familiarity with IEEE 15288.x, SAE AS9100, AS6500, and MIL-STD-882E standards
- Up to 25% travel to program offices, operational facilities, and contractor/vendor sites
Desired Qualifications
- TS/SCI Preferred
- Experience with large-scale ground systems integration (satellite, space, or defense systems)
- Hands-on with cryptographic devices (e.g., KIV-7M, TACLANE, KG-series)
- Strong background in DoD program scheduling and risk management
- CISSP, CCNP Security, or DoD 8570/8140 certification
- Prior work with SSC, SMC, or other space enterprise programs
Additional Requirements
- Must possess Active DoD Secret Clearance (TS/SCI Preferred)
