Job Summary
Act as a therapeutic parent and role-model in a secure residential home for up to ten children with complex attachment, mental health and behavioural needs. Build positive, trusting relationships to keep children safe and cared for, in collaboration with the on-site education and health and wellbeing team. Participate in a highly structured, stimulating and caring environment, with duties that may include alternate weekends, a mix of early/late shifts and sleep-in duties, and completing a thorough induction with mandatory training. Demonstrate patience, empathy, resilience and the ability to be consistent, kind and respectful in challenging situations.

- Experience working with children/young people in residential or secure settings is advantageous
