Job Summary
Develop and lead sector strategy in partnership with the Commercial team to drive sustainable business development across infrastructure, transport, water, and energy markets. Build, manage, and strengthen key client relationships while leading proposal strategy for complex, high-profile tenders. Provide strategic leadership and governance across project portfolios, taking commercial accountability for revenue, profitability, and margin management. Lead, mentor, and develop a geographically dispersed ecology team while championing safe, ethical, and compliant work practices. Represent Niche as a visible industry leader using professional networks to strengthen market reputation and support growth.
Required Qualifications
- Established ecology or environmental consulting leader
- Deep expertise in at least one environmental sector
- Confidence to operate at a senior, market-facing level

- Strong experience in NSW ecology or environmental consulting
- Exposure to major infrastructure, transport, water or energy projects

- Demonstrated ability to develop strategy, drive sector growth and contribute to strong commercial performance
- Revenue and P&L outcomes experience
- Strong track record delivering large, complex and high-value projects across a diverse portfolio
- Significant experience in stakeholder management, client relationship management and business development
