Section Mine Planner (Various Locations)

Develop plans and schedules that optimise mining assets within practical constraints; prepare mine plans and schedules (5-year, 2-year forecast, annual, monthly, weekly) to support the business plan; compare production budgets with actuals and propose realistic alternatives; provide technical expertise to production teams and attend production meetings; ensure compliance with Mining legislation and standards (MHSA, MPRDA) and oversee integrated risk management in mine planning; assess risks on life-of-mine plans and coordinate with operations to align plans and schedules; run Life of Mine models to develop schedules, block rankings, and dyke work; ensure production profiles are feasible over the long term and integrate planning with operations; assist with compilation of annual budget presentations and asset optimisation; contribute to budgeting and financial management; high proficiency in MS Office and mining planning software; a good knowledge of mining methods and the operational value chain; safety-conscious and committed to continuous improvement.
