Plan and execute the business strategy for the QA department regarding purchased parts to achieve corporate objectives. Manage suppliers through audits, development, claims handling, and improvement initiatives while overseeing quality checks for incoming goods, including inspection planning, acceptance testing, and disposition of non-conforming parts. Lead projects such as new model introductions and maintain quality standards across the scope. Control budgets and investments within the QA area, continuously optimize processes, and foster collaboration with customers, suppliers, and internal departments. Manage a team of 10–30 employees while promoting safety and environmental standards. Requires a technical degree, extensive supplier management and quality assurance experience, and project management expertise.
