Job Summary
Handle daily correspondence, process purchase orders, and answer phones while greeting patrons. Enter data into the student information system, prepare reports using Microsoft Office and Google applications, and maintain confidential files. Respond to enrollment inquiries, assist with long-term data accuracy projects, and distribute mail. Multi-task in an office setting while maintaining a professional manner. Occasionally supervise employees as directed.
Required Qualifications
- At least high school diploma or GED
- Typing speed of 40 wpm
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Google applications (Docs, Sheets, etc.)
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos
- Ability to compose and write grammatically correct correspondence and memos
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, schedule form, or blueprint form
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up or more than 10 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to or more than 50 pounds
