Job Summary
Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Principal and/or Assistant Principal by coordinating and administering the receipt and processing of matters requiring decision making, maintaining calendars and reminder notifications, producing correspondence and reports, initiating communications with students, parents and staff, and facilitating resolution of pending matters. Responsibilities include coordinating school databases (absences, discipline, grades, attendance, registrations, schedules, and DOE reports), handling payroll-related processes, overseeing visitor security, supervising volunteers, and preparing standard responses. Requires strong organizational, multitasking, and customer-service skills, with proficiency in office technology and data management; bilingual candidates preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduated from an accredited high school or possess a GED
- more than two years of clerical, secretarial or office administration experience
