Job Summary
Secretary to the Assistant Principal at Park Forest Middle School. Responsibilities include managing the Assistant Principal's calendar and meeting schedules, coordinating building communications, and handling difficult situations with skill, patience, and diplomacy. Must demonstrate good judgment, commitment to diversity, strong written and verbal communication, customer service, administrative and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as in a team; able to handle confidential matters with discretion. 7.5 Hours/day; 260 Days/year. Required Qualifications
- Experience in a secretarial, or administrative assistant position is required.
- Experience in public education and/or completion of an accredited secretarial and/or accounting training program is preferred.
