Job Summary
Secretary position in the Financial Crimes Unit of the OSBI in Oklahoma City, requiring confidential secretarial duties for agency officials, proofreading and correcting investigative reports, preparing transcripts for court proceedings, maintaining confidential records, managing office supplies and equipment, processing documents for dissemination, and supporting administrative tasks including calendar management, travel claims, and coordinating communications with supervisors. References to ACISS procedures, OSBI Report Writing Manual, and preparation of prosecutorial/reports for statutory recipients. Requires strong business English, spelling and punctuation, discretion with confidential information, and ability to interact professionally with staff and the public. Desirable skills include accurate typing, organization, and the ability to prepare and transcribe dictation and official documents; experience in assembling and summarizing material for administrative or legislative review. Special requirements include successful completion of a drug screen, polygraph examination, and background investigation for commissioned positions; equal opportunity employer. Required Qualifications
- three years of clerical office work (LEVEL II)
- five years of clerical office work including two years as an office manager or confidential secretary (LEVEL III) OR equivalent
- typing speed: LEVEL II 40 words per minute; LEVEL III 50 words per minute
