Secondary Teacher (Target Content + Target School) - ELA SPED Teacher

Secondary Teacher for ELA SPED with target content areas in Special Education (All grade levels), Math (6-12), Physics, Chemistry, and ESL. Responsible for promoting students’ growth, using diverse instructional materials and techniques, maintaining accurate records, implementing effective classroom management, planning weekly lessons, reporting to assigned work locations, and communicating with students, parents, and school personnel. Must hold a college degree and certification in the area of assignment (Louisiana Level 1+ or out-of-state certification) and be prepared to work within a district that offers a $2,000 target school stipend for the first year. Collaboration with school-based and central office personnel, adherence to applicable laws, and ongoing professional development are required.
