Secondary Teacher (Middle Years - English & History) - Aquinas College, ASHMORE

Secondary Teacher specialising in Middle Years English and History to join Aquinas College, Ashmore, on a short-term 18 hours/week contract (Mon, Wed, Fri). Responsibilities include creating a learner-centred, nurture-focused classroom aligned with the Australian Curriculum; collaboratively developing and implementing quality curriculum programs; evaluating effectiveness, assessing and reporting student progress to students, parents and the community; working with leadership and staff to foster a positive school culture; engaging in professional learning to enhance student outcomes; and supporting students' spiritual and moral development in line with Catholic values. Requirements include current registration with Queensland College of Teachers and eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; prior experience delivering English and History to Middle Years students; ability to design and deliver curriculum programs per Australian Professional Standards for Teachers; and ability to collaborate with colleagues, students, and families.
