Job Summary
Develop and adapt curriculum materials aligned with state standards for virtual Agriculture instruction across Iowa, Indiana, and Washington. Foster an inclusive online learning environment using multimedia resources, simulations, and project-based learning to deliver career-focused content. Design, administer, and assess student assignments and exams while providing timely feedback and academic support. Maintain regular communication with families and participate in live sessions alongside recorded instructional activities with Department Chair support. Stay current on industry trends and collaborate on professional development to strengthen instructional practices. Requires two years of Agriculture teaching experience, a valid CTE license, and proficiency in Google Workspace.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience teaching Agriculture or working in a related agricultural industry
- Strong knowledge of career pathways related to agribusiness, animal science, plant science, food science, natural resources, environmental systems, and agricultural technology
- Demonstrated competency in delivering career-focused, project-based instruction
- Proven experience working independently with minimal supervision, including the ability to manage a digital task list and maintain a stable remote (home-office) infrastructure
- Minimum of 1–2 years of experience using the Google Workspace suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) in a professional or academic setting
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex ideas via written channels (Email, Google Chat, and Document Comments) with high clarity and low ambiguity
- Access to a private, secure, high-speed internet connection with a minimum of 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Valid teaching license or Career and Technical Education (CTE) authorization appropriate for teaching Agriculture in Iowa, Indiana, or Washington
- Willingness and ability to obtain and maintain additional teaching certification or CTE authorization in the organization's assigned program states, as needed
- Appropriate CTE endorsement, authorization, or verified agricultural industry work experience that satisfies state licensure requirements
