Job Summary
The Secondary Spanish Teacher at Missouri Connections Academy will manage instructional programs, support curriculum delivery through asynchronous web conferencing and direct instruction, grade submissions, and conduct parent conferences. Responsibilities also include developing personal learning plans, maintaining student records, coordinating with other teachers and staff, and organizing regional field trips. The role requires communication with students, parents, and staff, and participation in training sessions and recruitment efforts. Candidates must be highly qualified and certified to teach Spanish in Missouri, possess strong technology skills, and exhibit excellent communication abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Spanish in Missouri (appropriate to grade level and content area responsibilities)
- Willingness to travel on occasion for marketing and state testing events (may require occasional overnight travel)
- Ability to work remotely, if necessary
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed to support some families
- Must be able to use a personal electronic device and email address for 2-step authentication.
