Job Summary
Set up production equipment, adjust tools and gages, and operate cranes, presses, and welding machines to process material per work orders and blueprints. Assemble and disassemble metal plates, replace hoses for maintenance, and perform accurate fitting, straightening, and packing of parts using special hand and standard tools. Maintain a safe, clean work area, keep detailed records, and follow verbal and written instructions to meet customer specifications and quality standards. Operate forklifts, load and unload parts, and assist other operators while managing paperwork for producing, assembly, or packing. Work the 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- One-to-three months related experience, including: manufacturing or similar environment as parts loader/unloader, machine operator and/or part inspector
- Computer Skills are required - to perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Manufacturing software and ability to learn how to new programs
- Ability to lift up to 50 regularly and 75 lbs. as needed
- Ability to work shift assigned and overtime as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Consistent experience in manufacturing performing machine set-up, part inspections and blueprint reading
- Heat treat experience
- Experience operating a crane
- Roll Line experience
