Secondary Science Teacher

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and Texas Education Agency guidelines. Conduct ongoing assessments of student achievement through formal and informal testing to adjust instructional strategies. Manage student behavior in accordance with the Student Code of Conduct while creating a classroom environment conducive to learning. Work cooperatively with special education teachers to modify curricula for students with Individual Education Plans. Establish professional relationships with parents, colleagues, and community members. Assume responsibility for assigned extracurricular activities and sponsor approved outside programs. Compile, maintain, and file all required reports and instructional materials.
