Teach students in reading, language arts, mathematics, social science, general science, health, art, physical education, and music using the Board of Education's adopted course of study. Develop instructional materials, provide individualized and group instruction, and evaluate pupil progress while maintaining appropriate records. Create a suitable learning environment, establish procedures for classroom control, and work with professional staff to identify and address student needs. Perform reasonable non-teaching duties as assigned. Maintain physical stamina for moving around the classroom and lifting up to 20 lbs.
