Job Summary
Teach Physical Education to K-12 students and oversee football and additional sport coaching duties as assigned. Plans, delivers and evaluates instruction aligned to district curriculum; uses instructional materials suitable for diverse learners; maintains student records and communicates progress to parents; supports school-wide activities and participates in committees. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and a valid North Carolina teaching license for the grade levels and areas assigned; responsibilities include managing instructional time, student behavior, and collaboration with staff to support student development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree including all courses to meet credential requirements
- Valid North Carolina license in the grade levels and areas assigned
- N.C. teaching credential (Education Licensure Area 0090) for Grades K-12
