Job Summary
Operate secondary manufacturing equipment for trimming, grinding, welding, and heat shrinking while performing in-process inspections to ensure quality standards. Set up and tend machines, follow written work instructions and blueprints, and complete production paperwork accurately. Monitor operations for failures, adjust as needed, and notify supervisors of nonconformances. Assist with sorting, packing, labeling, and handling finished products while maintaining a clean, safe work area. Work the 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 2:30pm to 11:00pm or 3:30pm to 12:00am, with hours that may vary slightly by department.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
- Ability to read customer blueprints
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent use of hands and repetitive movements
- Ability to occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
- 2nd Shift Monday – Friday 2:30pm to 11:00pm OR 3:30pm to 12:00am
- Hours may vary slightly by department/facility
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Manufacturing experience
- Ability to read customer blueprints preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
