Job Summary
Role: Offer Engineer for GIS secondary engineering in Chennai, responsible for supporting Sales & Tendering with engineering documents, BOM/cost estimation, and drawings submission for tender documentation. Focused on secondary engineering of Gas Insulated Switchgear for transmission and sub-transmission systems; involves preparation of panel layouts, SLDs, general arrangements, mimic diagrams, interlocking diagrams, and related documents; collaboration with Primary engineering, steel structure, project management, and production; includes interaction with Sales Support engineers and Area Sales Managers to deliver optimized solutions and ensure timely tender responses.
Required Qualifications
- B.E / Diploma in Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- 2 – 8 years of experience in Tender or Execution of secondary engineering for substations
- Good knowledge in CAD tools (Eplan/E3 & AutoCad)
- Experience in preparing/reviewing specifications, datasheets etc. for control and protection systems, SCADA, digital substations
- Excellent communication skills in English
