Job Summary
Nurse Practitioner responsible for comprehensive patient/client/resident assessment, diagnosing diseases, initiating treatment and prescribing medications under regulatory standards; provides autonomous and interdependent practice within an interdisciplinary team, makes referrals to physicians and other health professionals, collaborates to identify population health trends and develops strategies to improve health outcomes, participates in peer/self-review to evaluate care quality, and leads/mentors others in delivering care.
Required Qualifications
- Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing NP registrant
- Two (2) years of recent, relevant clinical nursing experience.
