Job Summary
Coordinate, organize and perform the assigned day-to-day activities in the Nuclear Medicine imaging department; coordinate/assist assigned department duties with fellow technologists and students; maintain currency with departmental policies and procedures; ensure high standards of image quality and patient care; operate related equipment including computerized systems and software; work as part of a team with staff, patients, and caregivers/families; requires CAMRT certification as RTNM and a diploma in nuclear medicine technology, plus CT education or equivalent with relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- CAMRT certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (RTNM)
- Graduation from an approved nuclear medicine technology diploma program
- Completion of CT education courses and/or equivalent in-house education in physics, instrumentation and CT clinical applications or equivalent
- One year recent, related nuclear medicine experience in an acute hospital setting
- Experience in Diagnostic/Therapeutic radioisotope procedures
