Job Summary
Assist patients, clients, and residents with rehabilitation activities and activities of daily living under the general supervision of an occupational therapist, physiotherapist, or registered nurse. Operate related equipment and physically carry out position duties while organizing work effectively. Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing as a member of a collaborative multidisciplinary health care team.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
- Deal with others effectively
- Physically carry out the duties of the position
