Job Summary
The Secondary Math Teacher at Minnesota Connections Academy will manage instructional programs by consulting with learning coaches and students to ensure successful completion of educational tasks. Responsibilities include conducting asynchronous web conferencing and synchronous instruction, grading, creating progress reports, conducting parent conferences, and developing Personal Learning Plans. The teacher will also support students with various strategies, maintain student records, consult with colleagues, and participate in community activities and state testing organization. Applicants must hold a teaching certification specific to Secondary Math in Minnesota and possess strong technological and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Secondary Math in Minnesota
- Strong technology skills (especially with Microsoft OS and MS Office programs)
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Highly organized and punctual
