Job Summary
Responsible for executing preparation and finishing operations on assigned work orders with precision and efficiency. Key duties include painting, boxing, broaching, balancing, and key-seating of components. Tasks also involve pulling raw materials and stick stock, measuring and cutting materials to specified lengths using a cut-off saw, and ensuring all work aligns with technical prints and quality standards. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area; inspect materials and finished components for defects; document inspection results; operate machinery safely; train to operate all secondary machines; collaborate with team to meet production deadlines; adhere to safety protocols and PPE; and support continuous improvement initiatives. Compensation starts at $20.80/hour with pay increases during a training period up to 18 months based on performance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Crane operation experience preferred
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment required
- Familiarity with basic hand tools, measuring instruments, and machine operation required
- Vocational or technical training in manufacturing, machining, or industrial technology preferred
