Job Summary
Provide non-evaluative coaching, professional learning, classroom support, and implementation guidance to help teachers strengthen secondary literacy instruction and student outcomes. Collaborate with the Coordinator of Literacy to design and deliver professional development on evidence-based literacy practices, district-adopted ELA curriculum, and data-informed instruction; monitor data to identify professional learning needs and coaching priorities; support teachers through coaching cycles with planning, classroom implementation, observation, feedback, and next steps; maintain coaching documentation and logs; develop lessons grounded in district curriculum and standards; facilitate structured Professional Learning Communities and coordinate across multiple school sites in Worcester County; position is a 198-day role reporting to the Coordinator of Literacy, with salary based on the appropriate teacher scale.
Required Qualifications
- Standard Professional Certificate
- at least five years of successful teaching experience
