Job Summary
Deliver high-quality instruction to secondary students in a classroom setting (grades 7-12), guiding learning through standards-based practices; develop and administer rigorous assessments aligned to standards; plan lessons and schedule activities with teachers, staff, and administrators; supervise students during daily activities and coordinate with parents/guardians to review progress and priorities; provide timely, high-quality feedback and ensure accommodations per IEP/504 plans; sponsor extracurricular activities and participate in professional meetings and development; maintain records and comply with district policies; 190-day contract; requires a Bachelor's Degree and an Arkansas teaching license; on-duty for 7 hours 40 minutes with potential after-school/evening events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (four-year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Education
- All teachers must have a valid Arkansas teaching license for the assigned grade level/subject matter
- Experience: No prior experience required
