Job Summary
Under the principal, the teacher is assigned to teach students and to fulfill the mission of honoring the Lord Jesus Christ by providing students an education based upon academic excellence and biblical values. The school emphasizes Christian doctrine and integrates Scripture into teaching. The role includes ensuring biblical worldview in lessons, maintaining classroom discipline, and meeting professional development requirements (ACSI certifications) for contract eligibility. The 2026-2027 school year begins August 2026 at CCS, Cypress, TX, with potential additional duties as assigned by school administration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Valid teaching certificate (ACSI or State of Texas)
- ACSI certification within 6 months of commencing teaching
- ACSI Philosophy of Christian Education course or approved equivalent prior to second year
- Maintain current ACSI certification for contract eligibility
- Born-again Christian aligned with school doctrine
- Ability to integrate Scripture into subjects coordinated with choir or other duties
- Strong classroom discipline and subject matter knowledge
- Proficiency with computer/technology applications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and time-management
