Job Summary
Head Coach for Varsity Swimming and Diving at Martin L. King Jr. High School. Responsibilities include instructing athletes in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training; developing and implementing coaching plans and game strategies; maintaining inventory of athletic equipment; enforcing safety and first aid protocols; mentoring student athletes; coordinating with athletic director, principal, and staff; organizing preseason meetings, clinics, and staff development; ensuring adherence to athletic policies and regulatory requirements; and promoting good sportsmanship and character development among players.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Georgia High School Association Lay Coaching Certificate
- First aid certificate
- Experience and knowledge coaching sports preferred
