Second Shift Mold Supervisor

Job Summary
Lead and supervise day-to-day Mold Department operations on the second shift, ensuring production targets, quality, and safety standards are met. Responsible for training and developing mold department staff, providing tools and instructions for safe and correct work, maintaining product quality per Leggett & Platt requirements and control plans, troubleshooting production, equipment, and quality issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Role emphasizes hands-on supervision, safety compliance (PPE, LOTO, ISO 9001), and collaboration on procedures and work instructions. Strong emphasis on math, measurement tools, and willingness to work on the production floor with attention to detail and organizational excellence. Second shift hours are 2:30pm – 11pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Solid math skills
- Ability to read and use standard measuring tools (tape measure, gauges, etc.)
- Computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely and consistently while enforcing safety rules
- Reliable attendance and flexibility to work overtime as needed
