Job Summary
Second Shift Machinist on CNC and conventional machines in Anoka, MN. Set up and operate CNC and conventional machining centers to produce precision components, read blueprints with GD&T, inspect parts with precision measuring tools, and troubleshoot issues to maintain production flow. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams on process improvements (5S, Kaizen, value stream mapping). Requires high school diploma or equivalent; a two-year technical degree is preferred. Candidates should have experience with CNC/conventional machining, tooling/fixtures, blueprint reading, GD&T, precision inspection equipment (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges), basic programming familiarity, ERP systems, and a strong, safety-focused work ethic. Salary range: $25.00–$39.36/hour plus $1.00/hour shift differential; shift options include Mon–Fri 3:00 p.m.–11:30 p.m. or Mon–Thu 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, life, disability, PTO, holidays, 401(k) with match, profit sharing, tuition reimbursement, and wellness programs. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two-year technical degree preferred
- Experience operating CNC and/or conventional machining equipment
- Knowledge of machine tooling, fixtures, machining processes, blueprint reading, and GD&T
- Ability to inspect own work with precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, gauges)
