Job Summary
Provide resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance to assigned residents under RN supervision. Perform tasks including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, obtaining vital signs, and transferring residents with proper techniques. Assist with food preparation, dining, and recreational programs while documenting resident interactions and care outcomes. Maintain infection prevention policies and communicate changing conditions to the charge nurse. Complete yearly competency testing and maintain continuing education credits.
Required Qualifications
- CNA certification with the State Board of Nursing, or state certified CNA within four months of date into the position by being enrolled in a training program or in the process of obtaining certification through Endorsement
- Satisfactorily completes yearly department specific competency testing
- maintains a record of continuing education credits for each year

Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED)
- Prior clinical or nursing assistant experience in long-term care
