Job Summary

Act as Second-in-Command (SIC) for clients’ multi-crew training in aircraft, maintaining currency and SIC qualifications across Part 142, Part 135, and non-FAA assignments. Responsible for serving as a competent SIC for recurrent, initial, or generic training without performing instructional duties, and for maintaining required certificates, ratings, and designations. Must hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category/class/instrument ratings and a minimum of 450 flight hours, with fluency in English and strong cockpit communication skills. The role requires adapting to changing schedules, professional interaction with customers, and the ability to operate within FlightSafety International’s QMS processes. Physical demands include typical cockpit operations and exposure to varied environments, with eligibility for export-control and security clearances as applicable.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D.) with two to three (2-3) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Commercial Pilot Certificate with appropriate category, class and instrument ratings; minimum of 450 hours
