Job Summary
Develop proficient and effective lesson plans aligned with the NC State Standard Course of Study while establishing a safe, orderly classroom environment. Manage various student behaviors, differentiate instruction, and regularly conduct formative and summative assessments. Participate in the MTSS process, collaborate with colleagues to mentor staff, and work with parents to promote positive behavioral support. Demonstrate technology competency and demonstrate leadership behaviors from the schoolwide Leader In Me program. This 195-day contract role includes a $6,000 license incentive for licensed applicants and offers medical, dental, vision, and 401k benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree
- Current North Carolina teaching license, or be in the process of obtaining one
