Job Summary
Operate power construction equipment including bulldozers, front-end loaders, backhoes, scrapers, motor graders, shovels, derricks, and may run large pumps or air compressors. Proficiency in controlling attachments, performing basic maintenance/repairs, and conducting inspections. Must understand specifications and instructions (verbal and written), adhere to safety regulations, wear PPE, and be able to travel within Southeast Alaska communities. Overtime, including Saturdays and Sundays, is typical with weekly hours meeting or exceeding 60. Requires a High School Diploma or GED, union membership, and MSHA/OSHA certifications; CPR/First Aid desired. Pre-employment drug screening and PAT required.
Required Qualifications

- MSHA Certification
- OSHA 10 hr Certification
- Minimum of one year of related experience
- Current member of applicable Union
