Job Summary
SEC Reporting Manager responsible for quarter and year-end SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K, Proxy), equity accounting and disclosures, with ownership of GAAP compliance and external-audit coordination. Responsibilities include preparing/reviewing quarterly financial statements, disclosure checklists, earnings-per-share calculations, journal entries related to stock-based compensation and stock repurchases, managing quarterly reporting requests and auditor reviews, driving improvements in financial reporting processes and equity accounting, staying current on accounting standards, and maintaining internal controls over financial reporting. Requires 8+ years of accounting experience (3+ years in corporate financial reporting), CPA/CA license, and strong SEC reporting experience; public accounting Big 4 background is highly desirable. Proficiency with SEC reporting tools (Workiva preferred) and XBRL tagging is valued. Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills are required. The role is based in Pune, India, with an expectation to work from the Pune office at least 3 days per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with CA or CPA license required
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 3 years in a corporate financial reporting role
- Prior Public accounting / audit experience with Big 4 highly desired
- Strong background with SEC filings (10K, 10Q, XBRL tagging) required
- Experience with public company stock administration and stock-based compensation expense reporting
- Workiva SEC reporting tool preferred
- Excellent project management skills and ability to collaborate with management and others in the company
- Self-starter with proactive problem identification and remediation solutions
- Superior attention to detail
