Job Summary
Care for observation patients in a 24-bed unit as a Nurse Aide I in the Clinical Decision Unit. Perform activities of daily living, assist with personal hygiene, take vital signs, and support patient safety. Administer a 12-lead ECG and routine venipuncture per training, assist with clerical tasks, document in Medical Records, and maintain unit supplies. Respond to changes in patient conditions and educate patients/families on safety measures. Requires a High School Diploma or GED and active Nurse Aide I registration with the state DFS, plus BLS. Schedule: full-time day shift on a 36-hour week across three 12-hour shifts with every third weekend.
