Job Summary
Deliver American Heart Association and American Red Cross CPR and BLS training sessions to individuals and groups. Demonstrate proper CPR and AED techniques, evaluate student performance, and provide clear feedback to ensure certification requirements are met. Prepare lesson plans and manage personal training equipment, including transporting items up to 50 pounds. Work primarily on weekends with weekday availability preferred at scheduled locations across the United States. Compensation ranges from $25.00 to $45.00 per teaching hour.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CPR/BLS Instructor Certification
- Valid CPR Instructor Certification
- Strong knowledge of CPR and AED procedures
- Clear communication and teaching skills
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively
- Strong organizational skills
- Reliable time-management skills
- Ability to work with students of different experience levels
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Must be able to lift and transport training equipment up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to physically demonstrate proper CPR and AED skills during class
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Weekday availability is preferred
