Job Summary
Licensed mental health professional provides diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy to adults and geriatric residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities across Greater Seattle and Rural Washington, delivering in-person and Telehealth services, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and developing behavioral care plans within the Expanded Behavior Supports (EBS) program; duties include accurate clinical documentation in Athena I, adherence to licensure and regulatory requirements, supervision/training elements, and active collaboration with SNFs to support Medicaid patients.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience providing mental health counseling or therapy in clinical setting
- Current, active unrestricted licensure or certification as a psychologist or mental health professional in the state of practice (e.g., LCSW)
- National Provider Identifier (NPI)
- Credentialing with Medicaid/Medicare is a plus
- Ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations, provide diagnoses, and deliver psychotherapy and treatment planning
- Experience with EMR systems (Athena I) and telehealth software
- Knowledge of state, federal, local laws pertaining to clinical practices
