SEASONAL YARD ASSOCIATE

Receive incoming materials, verify quantities and condition, and stock, stage, and organize building materials in the yard, racks, and warehouse. Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely to pull, prepare, and load customer and delivery orders while loading and unloading trucks. Assist walk-in and contractor customers in locating materials, inspect items for damage, and perform rough cuts using saws and measuring tools. Maintain cleanliness, enforce safety protocols, and support inventory control activities including cycle counts and stock rotation. Coordinate with supervisors and dispatch to manage yard flow and prioritize loads. This role supports daily yard and warehouse operations at Berco Redwood/Berry Lumber, Inc., serving as a key point of customer interaction in maintaining an organized, efficient, and safe lumberyard environment. Top performers may have the opportunity to convert to full-time status.
