Job Summary
As a Seasonal Wine Cocktail Tent Cashier, you will provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a smooth check-out process and overseeing guest safety by verifying IDs. Responsibilities include greeting guests, assisting with opening wine bottles, enhancing sales for merchandise, operating the POS/registers, handling transactions, crowd control, and maintaining the cleanliness of the wine tent. You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, valid permits, customer service skills, and be flexible to work varied hours, particularly evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- MAST 12 Class Permit and Food Handler’s Permit required
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct
Desired Qualifications
- Cash register experience preferred
- Proficiency in Point of Sales (POS) systems
- Basic understanding and knowledge of wine
- Customer service experience preferred (retail/hospitality)
- Strong communication skills
- Sales skills
- Ability to prioritize while handling multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment as part of a team
