Job Summary
Assist in picking orders and loading trucks using a voice-pick system, arranging loads according to specifications and securing them with straps. Operate forklifts and pallet jacks, completing daily pre-ride reports and maintaining fluid levels. Maintain a clean work area by cleaning spills and organizing mixed pallets, while wearing required PPE and following safe lifting techniques. Report all accidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately to supervisors. This seasonal role runs from now through August 28th with Monday-Friday shifts from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Candidates must be 18 with at least three months of warehouse experience and forklift certification.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18
- Possess high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess minimum of three months similar or related experience
- Forklift and/or walkie-rider/electronic pallet jack experience
- Possess the ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, bar graphs, and procedure manuals
- Have excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Possess the ability to perform physical work
- Must be available to work Monday-Friday: 11:00 AM - approximately 7:00 PM (and as needed)
- Must be able to lift 20 pounds
- Must be able to lift items up to 46 pounds
- Must be able to lift kegs up to 160 pounds
- Must have close vision
