Job Summary
Coordinate inbound and outbound deliveries by selecting products from racks, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging orders for final product delivery. Operate a forklift daily and utilize other plant machinery while ensuring all safety processes and standard operating procedures are followed. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area while adapting quickly to changes in a fast-paced environment. Forklift certification is required, and candidates must be 18 years or older with at least six months of general work experience. This part-time role offers flexible hours between 16-29 hours per week within the Land O'Lakes Flex Manufacturing Program, supporting the cooperative's mission to innovate nutrition for a healthier, more productive life.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 6+ months of work experience in any industry
- Basic computer and math skills
- Able to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
- Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
- Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful
- Successful forklift certification
- Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
- Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
- Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
- Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
- Required to work scheduled shift which may include weekends, some holidays, and periodic overtime
