Job Summary
Conduct daily meetings to discuss business priorities and transition shifts. Monitor hour-by-hour performance, adjust staffing to close gaps, and balance freight flow to achieve department goals set by the Operations Manager. Enlist colleagues for process improvements, ensure training and cross-training in all operational areas, and maintain a clean, safe workplace. Provide hands-on direction for fulfillment center operations while communicating feedback to the Operations Manager. Maintain the hourly process board to drive performance and foster a respectful environment. Requires heavy lifting, standing for two hours, and operating forklifts. Full-time colleagues work 30+ hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays based on department and company needs
- Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment as needed
- Must be able to work collaboratively with other team members to achieve goals and maintain a positive work environment
- Must be able to understand and communicate effectively with customers, co-workers, and People Leaders
- Must be able to read and understand employment policies and safety rules/procedures in English
