Job Summary
Select, move, and load pet food products from warehousing racks and freezers onto pallets, both manually and using equipment like forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Build accurate pallets to ensure product safety during delivery. Safely bend and lift materials up to 60 lbs repetitively throughout the shift while complying with all safety procedures and rules. Read, write, and understand English, including identifying numbers. Some positions may require working in temperatures at or below -5 degrees F in the walk-in freezer. Full-time and part-time roles available with multiple second-shift schedules; no overnights or weekends. Seasonal period runs from August 11, 2025, to January 10, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Candidate must be able to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
- Candidate must have reliable transportation
- Candidate must have flexible schedule
- Candidate must have solid attendance
- Candidate must have a positive, professional attitude
- Must be able to safely bend, lift, move materials up to 60 lbs. repetitively and continuously throughout shift, manually and by operating warehouse equipment
- Must be able to work in temperatures at or below -5 degrees F for long periods of time while wearing required personal protective equipment provided by the company
- Must be able to perform assigned functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations
- Must be able to build pallets accurately, properly, and efficiently to ensure product is not damaged upon delivery to our customers
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in safely operating warehouse equipment (e.g. forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- High degree of skill and dexterity in operation and safe control of warehouse equipment
- Experience and certification for an electric pallet jack
- Experience with Infor WMS
