Job Summary
Operate warehouse systems to prepare and complete orders for receipt, delivery, or pickup while maintaining quality and accuracy. Unload inbound trailers, apply labels, scan inventory, and stage orders correctly across receiving, picking, shipping, and replenishment departments. Follow safety procedures, ensure a clean work environment, and provide thorough hand-offs to the next shift. Meet departmental SLA goals and perform additional duties as assigned. This seasonal position in Vandalia, Ohio, requires 2nd shift availability (5:00 PM – 3:30 AM), $18.00/hr pay, and the ability to lift 60 lbs. Applicants must pass drug and background screening.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules and standard operating procedures
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand/walk for 10 hours per shift
- Willingness to be cross trained in multiple departments
- Excellent attendance and work ethic
- Flexibility for overtime as needed
- Must pass drug and background screening
