Job Summary

Assess and document areas for spraying, locate target zones on maps, and safely load and transport water and chemicals to job sites. Operate and maintain equipment including spray trucks, UTVs, ATVs, and hand sprayers while monitoring water usage, chemical levels, and weather conditions. Perform daily and monthly reporting, manage chemical spill containment, and double-check no-spray zones before application. Take required training for TDG, H2S, and defensive driving. This seasonal role involves immediate start through October 30th, 2026, with a 5:00 a.m. Monday to Friday schedule during the busy season.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Acceptable driver's abstract
  • Pesticide Applicator's License (Industrial and Agricultural) or Authorized Assistant Certificate
  • Pesticide Authorized Assistant certificate
  • Ability to maintain the equipment used (i.e. change oil)
  • Spray truck/UTV/ATV/trailer hauling/hand spraying/trimming experience
  • Reliable transportation to and from work
  • Must be able to work weekends and evenings
  • Must be available for work in adverse weather conditions including heat, cold and inclement weather
  • Physically fit

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with weed and crop identification
  • Comfortable using computers, including MS Office software
  • Comfortable reading maps and accurately determining land locations
  • Ability to manage time and priorities, and ability to multi-task
  • Comfortable dealing with the public and working alone for extended periods
