Job Summary
Seasonal valet drivers are responsible for providing exceptional hospitality services, including parking and retrieving guest vehicles promptly and safely. The role involves assisting guests with luggage, maintaining a friendly demeanor, and delivering messages or items as requested. Valet drivers should be able to explain parking rates and procedures, record vehicle information accurately, and handle financial transactions. No prior experience is needed, and all shifts are available with potential bonus pay for select shifts. The starting pay ranges from $15 to $18 per hour, plus additional tips.
Required Qualifications
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- One month related experience and/or training
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read and write standard English language
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations
- Ability to add and subtract three digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10’s and 100’s
- Ability to understand 24 hour and military time systems
- Ability to understand rates applicable to time passed
- Ability to operate a manual transmission is highly desirable
- Perform parallel parking
