Seasonal Unarmed Security Officer- Genesee County Area

Job Summary
Conduct security operations at special events including soccer matches, golf tournaments, concerts, festivals, and public gatherings. Monitor assigned locations with high attentiveness, perform regular perimeter walks, and identify safety hazards. Enforce site rules, assist guests, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible professional presence. Report suspicious activity immediately to supervisors and provide detailed information to authorities as needed. Work intermittent shifts with varying hours based on event schedules, requiring full physical engagement to de-escalate threats and operate a motor vehicle where required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to sit upright, stand, or walk for 100% of the shift as needed
- Must be able to quickly ascend and descend stairs and move as needed to secure premises
- Must be able to engage quickly physically to de-escalate or respond to security or safety threats
- Must have excellent visual and auditory acuity to see, hear, and interpret observable people, things, behavior, and speech
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
- Must have a valid and current Driver's License
- Safely and legally operate a motor vehicle
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Judgement and high level of integrity
- High initiative and reliability
- Ability to work in a culture of diversity, inclusivity, collaboration, and teamwork
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Travel to other locations may be needed
- Required to make any/all continued training/education classes provided by Premier Security Solutions, relevant to position
