Job Summary
Seasonal turnover maintenance assistant supports the facilities team during peak seasonal operations, including apartment turnover periods and special projects. This role assists with minor maintenance, cleaning, inspections, and unit preparation to ensure a positive experience for current and new residents. Responsibilities include performing routine maintenance tasks (changing filters, replacing light bulbs, repairing minor damages, securing fixtures), assisting with unit turnover (make-ready) processes (cleaning, minor repairs, preparation of apartments and bedspaces), supporting preventive maintenance and repair efforts to ensure safety and quality standards, assisting in quality checks of completed work to ensure units meet market-ready standards, inspecting the community for maintenance issues and reporting findings to the supervisor and maintenance team, coordinating with vendors and staff to support work order completion and project tasks, moving, unloading, and organizing supplies, furniture, and equipment, following the Company key control policies and procedures, attending required staff meetings and safety trainings, participating in routine property and unit inspections, and providing excellent customer service to residents, team members, and vendors. The seasonal role is anticipated to last from 7/29/26 to 8/29/26 and may be shortened or lengthened based on business need.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 months of related experience and/or training
- Knowledge of general maintenance including trash-out, cleaning, painting, and housekeeping tasks
- Ability to perform routine maintenance tasks such as changing filters and replacing light bulbs
- Experience in unit turnover (make-ready) processes and minimal repairs
- Ability to assist with inspections and report findings to supervisor
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and staff to support work orders and projects
- Physical ability to move, unload, and organize supplies, furniture, and equipment
- Adherence to Company key control policies and procedures
- Willingness to participate in safety trainings and routine property inspections
