Job Summary
Seasonal Seasonal TURN Help Maintenance Technician sought to support day-to-day maintenance operations for a student housing community. Responsibilities include completing routine service requests within 24 hours, assisting with unit turns and move-in readiness, maintaining the maintenance shop, communicating issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and participating in on-call rotations. Daily tasks include walking common areas to identify issues, performing preventative maintenance, assisting with quarterly inspections and HVAC filter replacements, keeping OSHA/EPA/MSDS logs as directed, and providing weekend coverage. The role requires hands-on maintenance skills across electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction, strong customer service and communication, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, independent and team-oriented work, and physical ability to climb ladders and lift heavy loads. A high school diploma or GED is required, with 1–3 months of related experience or training preferred. Certifications and licensure include HVAC certification as mandated by local regulations and a valid driver’s license with proof of insurance.
